Teal Tea Cup/Fancy Girl

6" x 6" ~ Oil on Hardboard

My first foray into the tea cup world with my oils. So, so much fun. So excited about the end result. I've done a million tea cups in watercolor. But I wanted to try doing this very fancy girl in oils. Enjoy. SOLD

This oil felt very fulfilling to me. I guess it's the challenge of trying things in the new medium. I love the rich intensity of the oils. I'm glad everyone likes it!! Thank you.

This painting is spectacular! What a terrific tea cup. I think anyone that hung this would want to break out their fine china and treat them selves to high tea. This work feels indulgent and luxurious. I just love it!
