Twilight Blush Rose

"Twilight Blush Rose"
6" x 6" ~ Oil on Hardboard

SOLD

I think the oils are becoming second nature to me. I found that after I was painting for awhile this afternoon that I wasn't having to think about it. I was just painting away, much like I do with the watercolors. Cool! I am really pleased with this Rose, soft delicate petals. I love the smoothness of the oils. This is oil #2....I'll be painting 5 this week. :~)

This is so beautiful--oils are definitely a good medium for you!

A few days ago, I was looking at your blog and my son came to sit on my lap to look with me. After a few pictures went by, he gasped.

"Mommy! Those are PAINTINGS!"

Such beauty, and thanks for sharing it.
